About
After winning the Overall World Cup Title in 2007, Svindal missed most of the '07-'08 season after a horrific crash in Beaver Creek. He staged an amazing comeback winning his first World Cup of the '08 - '09 season on the same Beaver Creek course. He continued to win World Cups and a World Championship medal on his way to clinch the 2009 Overall World Cup Title.
One of the biggest names in skiing, Aksel has showed complete dominance and fixed himself as the man to beat.
