This season, Ciccone will make the transition that many greats have made before her. Like Daron Rahlves and Casey Puckett, she will trade in her World Cup berths for World Cup Skier X, 48 Straight events and X Games. After 15 years of honing her skills on race courses, she will begin racing head-to-head on Skier X courses around the world. In her mind, she has 12 months to sharpen her skills and perfect her start to earn her spot on the first ever U.S. Olympic Skier X Team.
