Brennan Rubie

National Champion
Tags: Alpine Skiing

Brennan Rubie, born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, grew up skiing at Snowbird. He learned to ski the whole mountain at a young age and brought those skills to the race course with great success. Rubie qualified for the U.S. Development program in 2010, and since then he has won NorAm races, scored World Cup points, and is quickly climbing up the ranks to become the next American giant slalom ace.

After a long rehab from a fractured leg he suffered during the 2013 season, Rubie was back in the saddle for 2014 and began the long road back to the top of the podium. He finished the 2016-2017 World Cup season with his best World Cup result to date, an 11th at the Santa Caterina combined.  Add that to his 15th place result in the combined at World Championships and its easy to see how Rubie is on a tear to the top.
