About
Julia made her debut on the World Cup scene at the age of 16 and was an Olympian by 17. She then made her mark by breaking the record for the most consecutive top-3's at the U.S. National Championships. In 2005 Julia had a breakout season. She became the first American skier since Picabo Street in 1996, to win two medals at the World Championships. Julia established herself as a well-rounded skier by finishing in the top-5 in all 5 events of the World Cup in 2005.
