About

In 2007 Lea founded the Little Bellas mountain bike organization with the goal to help young women reach their fullest potential on and off the bike.  The Little Bellas community aims to empower women through cycling, accent the importance of goals and a healthy life style, and emphasize a positive female bond, by joining mentors with 8-12 year olds.  The group meets on a weekly basis for rides and team building activities throughout the summer. Lea and the mentors also incorporate events and activities to expose the Little Bellas to positive influences and successful women. This year the Little Bellas hosted a lemonade social for the professional mountain bike racers at the National Championships in Mt. Snow, Vermont.
