Ken Sowles

President

Ken has been representing athletes for 30 years. His clients range from Olympic Gold Medalists and World Champions to young athletes beginning their professional careers. Ken is a pioneer in the winter sports industry and has negotiated and managed some of the largest contracts in the history of snow sports.

Ken’s interest in sports marketing began in law school when he wrote an article on representing athletes for Western New England Law Review. After law school he created an association to give professional ski racers a collective voice on the US Pro Tour. Shortly thereafter, in 1985, he started managing athletes. Ken received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and his Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law. He resides with his wife in Colchester, Vermont.

Erica MacConnell Vessey

Marketing Director

Erica has over 7 years experience aligning athletes with brand names to strategically increase exposure of both the brand and the athlete. By taking a unique approach to each client relationship she ensures that their individual needs are always exceeded. Erica specializes in working with Fortune 500 companies across a myriad of industries developing a strong brand presence in partnership with an athlete or sports property that is best suited to maximize exposure while capitalizing on opportunity.

Prior to becoming Marketing Director, Erica was the Associate Head Coach for the University of Vermont Ski Team. While coaching the ski team, Erica completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration and founded an adult soccer league in Burlington, VT.

Johnny Sowles

Marketing Associate

As the newest member of the company, Johnny provides a set of young eyes and fresh ideas.  After graduating from Bates College with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, he returned home to Vermont where he managed soft goods at a retail ski shop.  Johnny has a sports background in freeskiing, soccer, and tennis.  He currently focuses on marketing, brand building, and securing non-endemic sponsorships for our clients.
